How deep does a homelab rack need to be?
Most enterprise servers need around 30 inches of usable depth plus room for cabling behind. Short-depth racks sold for audio equipment will not take them. Measure the intended spot including door swing before buying, because a rack that does not fit is expensive to discover after delivery.
